    Confederate Powder Magazine

    Built in the early 1860's this is a very unique structure. The fact that it is still standing is a small miracle. It is one of the only Confederate Magazines in the country.

    Historic Sight

    We passed this magazine on our guided boat tour. I was dismayed to see how eroded the bank has become. If steps are not taken to prevent further erosion, then this unique piece of history will lost.
