    Noisy vents kill the show

I hope to avoid going here again. The ventilation system is really loud during the show. Really ruins the experience. Also very cramped spaces for merch or accessing restrooms. On the plus side, lots of stalls once you can get to them. But avoid the side rows if you want to hear the performance.

An awesome venue for live theater.

The State Theater is a beautiful one, probably one the most ornate theaters in the USA. It was built in 1921 and likely held traveling vaudeville shows in the early days. In the late 1960s to early 70s I lived in Minneapolis and saw many first run movies here. The theater is now back to its glory of live theater. Recently we saw a ballet production of Cinderella, It was very well done and the music was fabulous. A wonderful place to see concerts or musicals as well.

    Too damn small and cramped

I thought an aisle seat would be the answer but, to make the seat count for the row, they narrowed the seat. Painful does not begin to explain the experience. This place is borderline inoperable and should be renovated. This is my last time...
