It's a memorial tower for those who were victims of the Pacific War.
Next to Hiragata Shrine, it is a park that doesn't seem to have a border with the shrine. The entrance was displayed as Hiragata Park on the left side of the front entrance of the shrine. Next to it was a display pillar of the memorial tower for the war-stricken martyrs, in the back of the park, through the children's play facilities on the way, and beyond that there was a memorial tower and an explanation board. It is said that this shrine was attacked by air raid during the Pacific War and many victims were killed, so it is the memorial tower. It was a sad place, wasn't it?
Nagasaki airstrikes
It is located in Hiragata Park next to Hiragata Shrine. It seems that what was in the precincts of Hiragata Shrine was moved here due to aging. I pray for the souls of those who died in the Nagaoka air raid 々.
