Stirling Gardens

Stirling Gardens is an ancient garden in downtown Perth. It was named in honor of Swan Valley Governor James Stirling and has a history of nearly two centuries. For local citizens, the peaceful and comfortable environment here is a good place to relax. For tourists, the most distinctive feature of this garden is the distinctive sculptures. First of all, at the entrance to the garden at the intersection of Barrack St and St Georges Terrace, stands the bronze statues of James Stirling and Alexander Forrest, as if two pioneers are guarding here. Secondly, there are also bronze statues of kangaroos and stone obelisks representing Australia, which are rare in Perth gardens.
