The walk is pleasant when you get to the treeline, even on a hot day. The track is well maintained but it can be muddy in places. The big issue is the view from the top is incredibly disappointing as ...

Great hike! Mr 7 and Miss 12 managed this walk. Unfortunately it was cloudy so we did t get the. Jew we had hoped for but was still a fun day out!

Great walk with awesome views at the top
Kakepuku is a beautiful mountain with a great walk to the summit. It is a tough walk but is definitely worth it. The bird life is great and the views are amazing.
