Four mile Beach is a rather pleasant spot to go swimming at, with the sand so fine it is almost like a powder. Just make sure to get it all out of your swimmers afterwards. To the north end, there are rock pools with little skittish crabs and other creatures living among them and a lookout to gaze over the ocean. The beach itself is rather wide from shore to treeline, with ample space for families and optional beach umbrella and chair hire available (but by no means mandatory). Along the way up there from Cairns, you are treated to spectacular views along the coast.

Self-driving to Port Douglas passes a beach. Very close to the port. There are many birds on the beach foraging. The beach here is not like the beaches of other tourists in Cairns, it is half beach, half mud beach
This is a beach for walking, it is long and beautiful, beautiful at sunrise and sunset. There are a lot of people here, and you can say hello to people passing by in the morning. It’s great. There are dogs there. I’m not sure if this is a beach where you can bring dogs, but it feels good to see them!
We are walking along the main road, at the end of the road is a four mile long beach, you can see a lot of coconut trees along the beach, there are a lot of coconuts on the beach. If you have time, try looking out at the 4 mile beach. You can see a cruise ship passing by.
Right in front of the hotel, the beach is beautiful, but dangerous, with jellyfish, not suitable for swimming.
