If you go up a little high hill from Funadomari Town, you will find Rebun Town General Park (commonly known as Octopus Park). From the direction of the parking lot, past the octopus slide, there was a passage down to the beach from the grass between the rest house building between the baseball stadium and the toilet. There are many holed shellfish everywhere. The result of being preyed on by opening a hole in other shellfish is a hole. It is a tsumetagui that attacks. It is a beach behind Rebuncho General Park. I parked in the parking lot of the park and tried to walk, but I didn't know where to get off to the beach because there was grass in between. I can only see it from a distance, but it was a nice view with the sky, the sea and the mountains.
You can get off to the coast immediately after parking your car at the so-called Octopus Park in Funadomari Village. It is a bay and the waves are calm. It was a peaceful atmosphere with no one else. It was interesting that there were countless holes in shells.
It is a beach on the south side of the center of Rebun Island .

If you walk from the park to the sandy beach, the beach is covered with countless shells as far as the eye can see. There are small holes in the shell here and it is called "hole shell". It seems that scallops that eat bivalves make holes. It is perfect for ornaments such as pendants. The children were happy to pick it up. At the beach, the sound of the shells rubbing together with the rustling waves echoes very beautifully, making you feel fantastic.
