The whole Island is worth a visit. Don't think you will be the only tourist for you most surely are not yet it is a nice days out.
Nice for a sunny day harbor stroll!
Nice harbor front area with plenty of space to walk around. A bit on the industrial edge but you can watch yachts and even bigger ships and perhaps visit the nearby "Ruegenfisch" fish factory shop. ...

Not worth
We were at Sassnitz sail in the port. It was little impressive and there was little viewable. The swinged pedestrian bridge is impressive, but it is not worth it alone.
