Full day out . Pens depressingly impressive. Submarine exhibit very good. Ship/ liner exhibit also very good.

Good view from the top of the submarine dock (which isn’t technically part of the base). Museums and cafes inside, and no real acknowledgement of what the pens were. It’s like they’re embarrassed, but...
