To visit if you are interested in the making of coins and medallions
Free entry. Best museum visit so far, because the staff were patient to explain in English and proactively pointed areas that i should see, yet gave space for me to explore the tour myself.
I visited here on April 15th 2019.It is located near Saitama Shintoshin station.It is a walking distance from the station.The admission is free.But you need to stop by the reception desk and check in....
A valuable facility where you can observe the manufacturing process of money and medals. It may be a little difficult to understand if you are about the age of an infant. I learned a lot because I didn't know it as if I knew it.
There is an exhibition and a factory tour passage in a new and very beautiful building. The factory is a break during lunch time, so it is recommended to visit after seeing the time. The exhibition was voluminous and interesting.
With the cancellation of the state of emergency in Saitama Prefecture, the closed Mint Saitama Museum opened. If I went to the Mint Saitama Museum, I definitely wanted to visit the factory, so I went on a weekday where I could visit the factory. Unfortunately, when I visited at the end of March, I couldn't visit the factory because the factory was not in operation for three days at the end of the fiscal year. The Mint Bureau, which was born in April 1868, celebrated 150 years, and the 150th anniversary special exhibition of the Mint Bureau was also held from April 29 ...
