Moon Cave

The Moon Cave is located in Hehe Township, Shanyang County, Shangluo, 45 kilometers away from Shanyang County. The landscape inside the Moon Cave has been characterized by grandeur, danger, strangeness, seclusion and size since ancient times, and the landscape outside the cave is also beautiful.

Going down the Jinqian River outside the cave, you will see mountains and peaks on both sides, verdant and steep. There are nine pools of clear water in the upper reaches, as well as cliffs, rocks, and canyon streams, which are Unlimited. The downstream landscape is the "Golden Flower Intersection", one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Shanyang". The Jinqian River and the Huashui River flow from two canyons respectively, and the water is one clear and one turbid, forming a two-color dragon that flows through the stone gate.

The Moon Cave is located on the hillside of the Grand Canyon, 3 kilometers downstream of the "Golden Flower Intersection". The cave is divided into two parts, the upper cave is called the South Heaven Gate, which can be reached by going up the stone path inside the Moon Cave. Climbing to the South Heaven Gate, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Shanyang.
