    St Helena Bay need to tidy up the area around the Vasco da Gama monument

    Views are great but the historical significance of this monument are not appreciated with all the broken glass and rubbish strewn around. Visitors leave deeply disappointed.

    Statue just stands randomly at a circle in the middle of the residential area with no place to stop and properly inspect. Blink and you’ll miss it.

    Worth a stop over

    I expected a cross but this monument is still worthy of a stop over. There are also benches to watch the sea and contemplate the historical event. There, could however, be more information to clarify ...

    a monument of what happen meany years ago that they sail around what is our country now

    i just think that there must be some sort of body looking after there type of monuments so that it can be passed on the the next generations to come
