Whilst there are many statues along the beautiful promenade this one was the only one I took a photo of. This just shows it stands out as a very impressive piece of work
Brave men and women
Lovely little celebration for the brave men and women that makes sure that the Alps are safe. A bit fun that is is situated along the palms along the beach though!

The Italin alpine troops of the first world war were amazing and this is a fitting memorial. A superb life sign structure.
Monumento al Mulo The Alpini
I am so glad that visitors notice how hard the Italians in this area and topography worked to defend this area. The Alpini are the oldest Alpine Mounted Infantry and worth investigating. A wonderful...
Beautiful surroundings, but I felt sorry for the mule.
I'm not sure this one statue needs a review; there are thousands of statues in Italy and probably hundreds in Stresa alone. But this one does stand out because of its location along the beautiful lake...
