The 9-acre Shadmoor National Park east of Montauk boasts more than 2,400 feet of ocean beach parks named for its open and undulating geographical environment and the shadows that grow there, and also has cliffs, freshwater wetland reserve trail elevated platforms for bird watching and greenery rocking with beautiful views of the coastline. Visitors can have a picnic here in the pit bunker left over from World War II. It is quite historic.
