Today's walk course (Tokushima city)
Original Text
Kasuga Shrine is located at the foot of Mt. Bizan, and is a valuable shrine that can be walked from Tokushima Station, which is rare in Tokushima Prefecture, where transportation infrastructure is poor. It is one of the "Tokushima City Chugosha" revered by the Hachisuka family, the feudal lord of Tokushima, and enshrines the same god as Kasuga Taisha in Nara Prefecture.
From the history book in the precincts, it seems that the Hachisuka clan's founder, Kamasa, moved to this place when the castle was built. It is located in an area where temples are gathered. It is a beautiful shrine well managed.
I stopped by after visiting the Awa Odori Kaikan. You can walk from the Awa Odori Kaikan in 5 minutes. It is a small shrine. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom in the season and it was really beautiful. It is also known as a shrine where spring water comes out.
Kasuga Shrine at the foot of Mt. Meizan. I went after visiting the Awa Odori Kaikan. 5 Arrived in a little while. It is an old and quaint shrine. Spring water also comes out from the precincts. There is also Shiraito Falls nearby, so it's a good idea to visit it together.
It is a shrine in the Teramachi area at the foot of Mt. Biyama. It seems to be famous for Kasuga Water, one of the spring waters of Mt. Biyama in the precincts. The shrine itself wasn't that big, and when I visited, there were no other worshipers and it was quiet. The cherry blossoms are also famous, so I would like to visit in spring.
