The precinct is divided by the construction of Nakasugi Dori street
Original Text
About 3 minutes walk from Asagaya Station. Ekimae-dori (Nakasugi-dori) divides the precincts into two. A temple of the Shingon sect Toyoyama school built around 1429. The principal image is the statue of Fudo Myoo. Old betto of Asagaya Shinmeigu. The main hall was built in 1935 and is tiled with wooden roofs. The arrangement is quite cramped, but this may have been due to the loss of the center of the precincts due to the construction of Nakasugi-dori and the fact that it was forced to relocate to its current location.
The mountain gate was closed. There is a bell tower and a Jizo in the precincts where the vacant entrance is not very wide. There is a fence on the stairs leading up to the hall of worship, and there is no money box. It seems that the mountain gate will open. It seems that the Daiseiden on the other side of Nakasugi-dori is also Sesonin, and Nakasugi-dori was built and divided later. Daiseiden was open.
It is located along Nakasugi-dori from the north exit of Asagaya Station. The mountain gate is almost closed with a historical appearance. It's quite dignified. There is another gate like a gate, and it seems that you can enter the precincts from there. There is also a site across Nakasugi-dori, and he has a kindergarten and Kannon-do.
Stayed in Tokyo for about 2 week using 2018 year GW. In the first half, I was taken care of by a friend's house in Suginami Ward, so I have been wandering around the city of western Tokyo, which I rarely go to. Visited Asagaya for the first time. I also went to the Shingon sect Toyoyama school temple "Sesonin" on the north side of Asagaya Station. The mountain gate is very splendid and spectacular ☆ If you go a little further north, there is also "Shinmeigu", so I think it would be a good idea to visit it at the same time.
