it's the ruins of gusk built at the end of the 13th century.

    Original Text

Urasoe Castle was built at the end of the 13th century. Therefore, it was a place that flourished even older than the current Shuri Castle. Also, since it is located on a hill overlooking the city of Urasoe and the sea, the hill with Gusuku was called Maeda Highlands in the Battle of Okinawa in 1945, and it is said that it was also a fierce battlefield.

When I participated in the Tedako Walk, I also visited here. The slope that you climb is longer than you expected and suitable for walking. From the top, you can see the town of Maki Port and see that this place is a suitable place for the castle.
