Went in October 2016 when Elk are in rut. Heard calls it was an awesome camping trip. There were 6 parties. Beautiful, cold, wet. But worth every minute. My Chihuahua loved it.

Beautiful lake
Beautiful lake with lots of camp spots. It is about 15 miles on a gravel road from Williams, AZ. There was also a boat ramp, and a food shack, and a place to rent boats, etc.
