Changle Park

Xi'an Changle Park is located on Jinhua North Road in Beilin District, next to Changle Flower Expo Park. The park has been remodeled in recent years. Its plants are very rich, the water system layout is reasonable, and the rides are also good.

Xi'an Municipal Committee and Municipal Government have invested 22 million yuan in recent years, and have carried out infrastructure transformations for Changle Park. 9 new attractions such as Hehuan Garden, Sakura Forest, Footprint Square have been built. The garden square and green space have totaled 13,650 square meters. The park is open to the public for free.

Changle Park was founded in 1956 as Hansenzhai Nursery, covering an area of 333.33 mu, and was one of the largest nurseries in Xi'an at that time. In 1976, in order to put a batch of tropical animals presented by Japan, Hansenzhai Nursery was converted into Xi'an City Zoo, and officially opened to tourists in 1977, and since then, it has become a landmark in the eastern suburbs of Xi'an.

Changle Park not only has four functions such as providing leisure and entertainment for the public, regulating ecological climate, conserving water sources and emergency safe-haven. For the old Xi'an people, this is a good place for people who love nature to relax, entertain and exercise. It is a place that contains good memories for generations, and there are still some old residents who have moved elsewhere to return to the park to remember, some attractions, and even a must-choice attraction for generations to take pictures.

With the two renovations in the park, Changle Park covers an area of 293 mu, of which 26 mu of lakes, green area of nearly 180,000 square meters, the terrain is high and low in the east and west, high and north, the park is shaded by trees, and hundreds of birds are competing. The lake, slope and winding paths are blended with the undulating lawn.

In order to further improve the service level of the park, the transformation of Changle Park has been launched from November 2020, focusing on the increase and repair of infrastructure in the park, the expansion of vegetation area in the park, and the maintenance of houses.
