Xinkouzhanyi Ruins

Taking advantage of this year's 11th holiday, I specially went to the site of the Battle of Lukou. There are plots in this place because the old father had participated in this battle and was injured. I learned that the old father's company, except for the three comrades who had been injured, all died. It's too miserable. Years later, according to historical data, the Chinese Communist Party and the army of the two parties have killed more than 100,000 people and killed more than 20,000 enemies.

忻口战役遗址介绍：忻口战役遗址位于忻州以北25公里处，是忻州的北门户，早在汉代，这里就是重要的军事防守基地。1937年10月，为抵抗沿北同蒲南下的日军，国共两党浴血奋战，23天内共歼灭敌人两万余人，取得了抗击日军的一次巨大胜利。

忻口战役遗址在忻州北25公里处的忻口村，传说高祖刘邦在平城白登山突围后，到这里心中高兴取名忻口。忻口历史上就是一处重要战略要地，是忻州的北门户，抗战时期著名的忻口战役就发生在这里，现在这里建有纪念墙。

忻口战役遗址位早在汉代，就是重要的军事防守基地。遗址南北长1000米，东西宽500米，现存有与日军作战时修筑的窑洞50余孔及204号激战地，至今战争遗物时有发现。除部分窑洞坍塌外，余皆保存完整。忻口战役是抗战初期国共合作对日作战的典型范例，歼敌万余，重创侵华日军“精锐”第五师团。
