Be careful of traffic safety on the road leading to Tenjin and shrines

    Original Text

The road to the shrine is not wide, but I thought it was necessary to be careful as cars often pass through. The shrine building is compact, but I thought it was a Yamaguchi-like building with a simple, sturdy yet secret elegance.

It is Tenmangu Shrine with Sugawara no Michizane as its main deity.

    Original Text

A shrine in Yamaguchi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. More than 620 years ago, Hiroyo Ouchi solicited Kitano Tenjin in Kyoto and enshrined it on Kitanokoji, and Hidenari Mori moved the shrine to his current location in 1373. I visited and noticed that there was no notation, but it was Tenmangu Shrine with Sugawara no Michizane as the main deity. That's why it's commonly known as "Yamaguchi's Tenjin-sama". From the city of Yamaguchi, there was Furukuma Shrine when I went straight to the hill on a narrow but straight road. ...

I go every year at the first visit.

    Original Text

I worship every year at the first visit. In the precincts of a calm atmosphere, it is not too crowded compared to other shrines, and there are not too few people, so you can worship leisurely.
