Heat and poverty in main street

The street is the main on town, but lacks green areas and night life. The blue artifacts helps protect from but not the heat that easily overcome 100 degrees.

Good place to shop

This is a typical shopping area in Brazil where you can find basically anything you need. The shops are not upscale, just basics for most of the locals needs.

Open shopping center

The place is a regular street without cars, which become a open shopping center, mostly composed of popular stores and services in downtown area.

A DIFFERENT PLACE

If you dont like Shopping Center, Calçadão da Batista is the right place to go. You find different things to buy, and a lot of people walking, during all day.

It's worth it.
