The Tomb of March 18 Martyrs is located at the southwest corner of the Yuanmingyuan site in Haidian District, a newly built scenic spot of Qingyan in Jiuzhou. In 1929, it was built in memory of 47 martyrs who died in the 1926-quot; 318-quot; tragedy. The pine trees around the tombstone were already towering.
