Beijing Peach Palace

Pantao Palace is located in the east of Chongwenmen East Street, formerly known as the Taiping Pantao Palace for protecting the country. Pantao Palace is located near the Ming Dynasty Wall Site Park. Together with Dongbianmen Corner Tower, Pantao Palace forms an ancient building cluster, which preserves the ancient style and color in the modern city.

Demolished in 1987. The preserved cultural relics include "Pantao Festival" glazed brick and "Tablet of Taiping Palace" stone tablet in Qianlong period.

Some poems and texts, left behind the scenes at the time, like "A String of Grass Beads" on the clouds, "seeing burning incense in the Peach Palace, playing along the river for five long days. This lively event lasted for hundreds of years until the early 1960s, although worshiping God was rare, But the temple fair was still very lively. In 1987, the Tao Palace was demolished because of the construction of the Dongbianmen overpass. The "Taiping Palace Monument of the Huguo" in front of the original Tao Palace Royal Mother Hall was moved to the green space on the south side of the overpass.
