The UN Memorial Park is a cemetery park where the heroes of the United Nations soldiers who died in the 1950-1953 Korean War were buried. The park covers an area of about 135,000 square meters. In November 1955, the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea decided to select a suitable cemetery for the soldiers to rest here in order to commemorate the heroic and heroic sacrifice of the United Nations officers in the pursuit of freedom and peace during the Korean War.
