"The Dark Church is located in the Goreme Open Air Museum. You need to purchase an additional ticket. The price of the ticket is 18 lire. Like the open-air museum, photography is prohibited inside the church. The dark church is relatively well-preserved, and the frescoes inside depict biblical stories such as two church donors, the Last Supper and the birth of Jesus. The museum's navigator is also suitable for dark churches. The church is not big, but the frescoes are still quite beautiful."

"The church with a long history, there was no one when I went there. There was an old man next to the hut with a sign saying that he would charge for taking pictures. He kept staring at you. The whole thing was quite shocking. The rock was very huge."

"The churches here are quite special, basically hiding on various rocky mountains. Coming here can see the environment in which the believers lived at that time. It is also a very special experience and can learn about history."

"The church is pretty good. I walked past the open-air museum and there was no one. Then I saw the small daylight hole, which was very conspicuous. There was an old man at the door buying a ticket and he could bargain. The valley opposite was nice."

"The most unforgettable part of the whole trip to Turkey. I stayed for four days and explored many places. I walked from the Zivir Open Air Museum to the no-man’s land. I almost couldn’t get out. I climbed onto a chimney and then I couldn’t get down. A crazy place to play."

"The Eski Monastery is an ancient cave monastery, about 10 kilometers east of Nidai City, was discovered in 1963. Because the early Christians belonged to heretics in Turkey, they had to hide here in order to avoid persecution. In the towering main church, there are gorgeous Byzantine frescoes from the 7th to 11th centuries AD. In the picture of the Virgin and Child in the apse, Mary has a tall figure with a Mona Lisa smile. It is said that this is the only surviving statue of the smiling Virgin."
