I've been following the Tokyo Dome for many years, and after a long time researching online, I finally visited the site to experience the indoor stadium that holds 55,000 people. I missed the Giants game, but I was lucky to catch a Japanese amateur match. I bought a ticket for 950 yen, which is less than 50 bucks, and got to feel the atmosphere of Japanese baseball. The amateur game had supporters from both teams plus the locals from Tokyo, amounting to over 20,000 spectators. I also experienced the Japanese baseball cheering culture; as soon as the offense starts a hit, live music and dancing begin to boost the mood. With three games in one day, the high usage rate of the venue is astonishing, with activities on 25 days of the month, it's truly impressive!

Many people come to the Tokyo Dome mainly to attend concerts, but little do they know that there is a Tokyo Dome Hotel with great value for money and a wonderful view. There's also an amusement park and a shopping mall, so you can really have it all - eat, drink, play, and stay with excellent facilities. The Tokyo Dome is only open to the public during performances or games, and many shops have opened underneath it, making it a very nice place to relax. If you don't want to go to places with lots of tourists, coming here is a great off-the-beaten-path choice. 🎡 Koishikawa Korakuen: Do you remember the Ferris wheel from the Conan anime that Shinichi took Ran to? It's the one in Korakuen. Since the surrounding buildings are not tall, you can get a panoramic view of the Tokyo Dome skyline from the Ferris wheel. There's also a roller coaster that goes through walls and a romantically lit carousel at night, making it a perfect spot for couples to visit, truly embodying the atmosphere of a Japanese drama. Plus, there are very few tourists here, mostly just Japanese locals. The amusement park and shopping mall are built together, so after having fun, you can go shopping and eat, and even take a dip in a hot spring. 🏡 Accommodation: Tokyo Dome Hotel ✅ The main reason for choosing this hotel was that I had never stayed in this area before, and their rooms are definitely considered large in Japan, with good value for money. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows face the Tokyo Dome and the amusement park's roller coaster. ✅ During this trip to Tokyo, I stayed in three hotels. This one was the cheapest, but the room was the largest and very bright, with relatively new decor. The room also provides Pola cleansing products, which is a thoughtful touch. ✅ Remember to request a room on the side close to the Tokyo Dome when checking in, so you can sit on the windowsill and enjoy the view of the Tokyo Dome at sunset and when the lights first come on. There's a good Yakiniku restaurant called Gyubei on the second floor of the hotel, which is the best dining option nearby. 📍 Location: Tokyo Dome Tokyo Dome 🚇 Transportation: There are two subway stations and three subway lines that can take you to the Tokyo Dome, which are Korakuen and Suidobashi.

Suidobashi is located in Tokyo which I consider one of the underrated places for tourists. Actually, when I got the chance to explore the area I discovered that there are a lot of sites you can visit from Suidobashi station (JR Chuo Line or Mita Line). Most obvious sight seeing places would definitely be “Tokyo Dome” but you can also visit a park near the concert stadium. #tripblazers #tokyo

This iconic Tokyo Dome in Bunkyo City and very accessible by the metro train. This dome is generally designed for baseball games but holds major events as well. Several theme park is in the same area with so many restaurants. Great place with kids. #wintergetaway #wintergetaway
