Town
南美当地向导YolandaReceiving tourists to Hot Water Town, almost all the people who come here are to get up for the night and get up early to board Machu Picchu. You can choose a youth hostel or the luxurious Belmond Hotel at the foot of Machu Picchu Mountain. 【view】 Take a train from Cusco to Hot Water Town, which is the nearest town to Machu Picchu. It is located at the foot of the mountain at an altitude of 2040 meters. It is only 6 kilometers away from this world-famous World Heritage Site. It takes 1.5 hours to arrive. 【taste】 There are many special features in Shuhui Town: There are no other vehicles in the town except for the bus to Machu Picchu and a small number of work vehicles. Almost all residents in the town are engaged in tourism, either opening restaurants, hotels, or shopping malls. Souvenirs are sold in the market. It's a bit like Little Lijiang. Tourists can visit the handmade market here, buy a few Incan shawls, and wear them to take pictures in Machu Picchu the next day!

City | landmark
凹凸曼和小伙伴New to Cusco City Guide 📍Geographical location: high altitude area! Peru Cusco, the city is about 3,310 meters above sea level. ✈️ Transportation: Cusco airport code CUZ (full name: Aeropuerto Internacional Teniente Alejandro Velasco Astete), don’t be afraid of the long name, no matter how it changes, Cusco is just one airport, whatever you call it. ) 🚕Airport➡️City center: 10 Peruvian Sol, but some drivers will increase the fare according to the number of people. Four people are likely to charge 20 Peruvian Sol, which is almost 5 Peruvian Sol per person. 📝Travel tips 🔸When you first enter Cusco, you will have some altitude sickness, rapid heartbeat, lethargy, constant yawn, dizziness, and you should get used to a slow pace of life in high altitude areas. 🔸If you get off the plane and take the itinerary directly, you can arrange a city tour, mainly around the Plaza de Armas in the city center. The tour time is almost the time for taking pictures. The overall situation is relatively easy; if you choose the Inca Sacred Valley salt field line and need to climb, it may feel powerless for travelers who have not yet adapted to the plateau environment. 🔺Of course, if you have good physical strength and enough time, you can run the Sacred Valley Salt Field first and then the city line. 🔸There are many restaurants near the Plaza of Arms, and there are many cafes, and the tastes are also good.

chinadesk1When you come to the Plaza of Arms in the ancient city, the most conspicuous is the Catedral Del Cuzco. Brick-red buildings, high bell towers, and majestic crosses, you need to walk up the steps to reach the entrance. The wall above the doorway has fine carvings. This church looks similar to European churches, but is large in size, and there are small churches next to and behind the main building. The three door openings on the front are dark green, and the cathedral side is a building with arcades, decorated in Spanish style. When we went, the entrance was by the side door, and the ticket was 25 pesos (1 peso = 2RMB). There seemed to be a religious group visiting that day, and the staff were very strict and it was strictly forbidden to take pictures. Like most churches, it is quiet and believers pray together. Large religious oil paintings on the walls tell doctrinal and historical stories. Sculptures of religious figures stand, and some ancient religious articles are also displayed. The stone floor of the church is sharply polished, and every detail shows its ancient and vicissitudes. Sit in the church for a while, gaze at the high altar and feel the religious mystery. According to the information, the Plaza of Arms was the most important political, economic and military center of the Inca Empire. Now the metal statue of Inca King Pachacuti still holds a scepter overlooking the former glory of the Plaza of Arms. People are relaxing and chatting in the square, and they can also see women and girls wearing traditional Inca costumes, and some even lead cute llamas to sell the first corn planted by the Incas. Although the temperature is high, the sun is scorching, and tourists are bustling with excitement, exploring the past and present of this splendid Inca cultural birthplace. The World Heritage Assessment Committee’s comment on Cusco is that the ancient city of Cusco is located in the Andes Mountains of Peru and developed into a complex city center under the Inca ruler Pachacuti, with unique religious and administrative functions. The ancient city is surrounded by clearly visible agricultural, handicraft and industrial areas.

Rock Monument
乖小咪The dodecagonal Inca Stone is a historical miracle on the Inca Road. The huge rocks weighing several tons are neatly built into a series of stone walls. The scale is very large. In the absence of lifting equipment at that time, it is really a very big miracle to complete such a huge project. How to build it is also an unsolved mystery, which is worthy of everyone to explore.
