Enshi (恩施) Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture is located in southwestern Hubei Province. Nearly 70% of Enshi Prefecture is covered in forest. The prefecture has been called “the Forest of Western Hubei,” “China’s Pharmacy,” “Tobacco Kingdom,” and “the Selenium Capital of the World.” Enshi is also home to the world-famous folk tune “Dragon Boat Song.” Famous sights here include Enshi Grand Canyon, Tenglong (腾龙) Cave, Suobuya (梭布垭) Stone Forest, and Enshi Tusi (土司) Town.
