Many condo owners tend to convert their units to the so called ‘homestay / airbnb’ in order to cope with declining rental rate. It is very difficult to find long term tenants during pandemic. Rental rate is unable to cover bank borrowing. One of such condos, namely H2O Residences Ara Damansara offers great facilities comparable to a hotel facilities. Room rate is very affordable. First time visiting the mall. As the mall is quite new and it's MCO time, the mall is quiet. However, many shops have opened as well. Medium to high range shops. The mall itself is well decorated and with cozy ambience. Lots of yellow light used for lighting.
Varieties of restaurants and cafes.Few restaurants which are on the sides have great view while dining. Washroom access are limited as of now, perhaps due to MCO.
Sunway Lagoon Theme Park is located in Petaling Jaya about 15km southwest of the Kuala Lumpur. This amazing park has a variety of watery rides to offer and plenty of dry-land activities too, there are few more fun ways to spend a day.
The water slides that whirl and twirl, a manmade ‘river’ ride, a surf beach, a wave pool, a 360° revolving pirate ship is a must try rides. Indeed a happy place to have fun!
Taman Jaya Lake Loop is a 1.1 kilometer lightly trafficked loop trail located near Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia that features a lake and is good for all skill levels.
The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips. There are a few parks in KL that make all the ‘Top 5’ lists so we decided to go a little bit away from the city centre and try Tasik Taman Jaya which is in Petaling Jaya.
As always, it’s a great park for children with 2 different playground areas, a dedicated cycle path, and lots of shaded areas with park benches and picnic tables.
Enjoy a walk around the lake or even make use of the ‘adult-only outdoor gym’ while the little ones play
Being a multiracial country, Malaysia has been well positioned as a food paradise. I highly recommend visiting Gogigo, one of the cheapest Korean Buffet in Town. For those who loved or craving for a Korean barbeque, you should try this. They are located in the heart of Kota Damansara and Puchong, Selangor. They serve unlimited pork meat and pork belly and a hot spicy Korean barbeque, there's also a hot pot with 2soup in one pot. #malaysia #malaysiatravel #malaysiafood #malaysiatrulyasia

Indeed a perfect view during rush hour in Puchong. I'm so amazed with how disiplined drivers patiently waiting. Malaysia's jam/traffic is manageable compare to other countries in south east asia. Roads and highways are perfect. One of the best road in the world. When you visit Malaysia, you will tell that this country is one of the best. Thank You Malaysia. You are trully Asia. 🇲🇾
Section 17 is an old neighbourhood that has always been famous for their wet market, and eateries surrounding it. The building of this mall is definitely going to spark fond memories among the PJ or Section 17 people. It is where tradition meets modernity. For many people who have left Section 17, this is also like a nostalgia for them. The goal of this mall is for visitors to go back down memory lane, but in a more modern twist. It is not only about visiting old memories, but Seventeen Retail Mall is also offering fresh retail experience for the new generation of shoppers
Located right at the wet market landmark, Seventeen Retail Mall offers wide selection of food and beverage, a supermarket, entertainment, fashion, beauty and toys and gifts.
Currently there is big hype on the biggest Starbucks Reserve coffee in Malaysia, that is currently operating in Tropicana Gardens Mall. A new mall in Kota Damansara.
You can sit at the bench to take nice picture. A nice contract of white marble with a bit of aqua pale green as a back wall. then sit and watch all the coffee process that they are making for other customers.
The Starling is a 5-storey eco and lifestyle mall built with an organic form and a fluid façade. It is a space where nature is immersed into an urban retail environment, to create unique spaces for delightful moments of togetherness, in harmony with nature.
The ground level Chirp Park is spread across 27,500 sq ft of green lawn dotted with swaying trees, complete with its own meandering brook. Alternatively, visitors can interact with nature at the rooftop Sky Park. Boasting beautiful landscaping, it is the perfect vantage point to gaze at the night sky and revel under the stars with loved ones.
As a nature themed mall, design features provide visitors with a complete “mall in a park” experience. The entrance pathway design mimics leaves blown into the interior, while natural elements are expressed through interior design touches and signage. Vertical green walls are placed within the mall to improve indoor air quality while a large skylight provides ample natural light.
In addition to connecting with nature, the Starling has a good combination of tenants to serve the needs of residents, workers and visitors in UPtown. Major anchor tenants include the supermarket Jaya Grocer, home improvement store SSF and MBO Cineplex.
