When you come to the border, how can you not take a look at the port? It is close to Myanmar, so you naturally want to take a look at the jade. Then you are in the right place. Unlike the huge jade market in Ruili City, the things in the jewelry store here are really for ordinary people to see, and the shopkeepers' offers will not immediately reject you. As long as you do your homework in advance, I believe you will find the jade that suits you. You must remember to know yourself, see things clearly, avoid greed, and have a peaceful mentality. The port is naturally a place for exchanges between the two countries. It is crowded with people. You can see Burmese people all over the ground. They look no different from Indians. They are all busy and have no time to look around. You can also go around the Sino-Myanmar market, but I believe most of the things inside are unfamiliar. Just take a look. Anyway, there will be a big obstacle to language communication. You might as well try their snacks and take a few sneak shots. There are other ports in Ruili. Jiegao Port should be the largest one with the most convenient transportation. 弘扬师兄:“Ruili General Buddhist Temple and Dai Palace are located next to Panbeng Village in Mengmao Town, Ruili City, Yunnan Province, on a high slope 8 kilometers away from Ruili City. The two attractions are adjacent to each other.
For those who come to Ruili in autumn and winter, especially those who have faith, this is a good place with pleasant scenery, quiet and peaceful. It is a good idea to stay for a while or to camp the RV here. Don't underestimate this place. The General Buddhist Temple has a host and monks, and a group of young monks are being cultivated in the temple; the General Buddhist Temple is very popular, and there are endless tourists visiting. From time to time, there are tour groups visiting this temple. The hollow Buddha statue is a great place to take pictures of the sunset; the building is grand and magnificent, splendid, and the infrastructure is complete.
The Dai Palace is about 20 meters away from the General Buddhist Temple and covers an area of about 533 acres. The buildings include the Dai Palace, the Great Pagoda, the dining area, the palace ruins, the wash well ruins, the wash elephant pool ruins, the training ground ruins, etc.
I don't know why the Dai Palace's facilities are not as good as those of the main Buddhist temple. There are no monks, no incense, no tour groups, only sporadic individual tourists. The reason may be that the infrastructure needs to be improved, the staffing is not in place, etc. However, this is also a good place to take pictures of the sunset.”

They all look like B-grade and C-grade (although they are chemically treated and not natural, they are cheap and look good to laymen). After that, I went to the Jewelry City and was shocked by the thousands of vendors and shops here. The prices seemed to be similar to those in Tengchong and Kunming. I bargained down the price of a pendant to 60%. It is a prerequisite to look more and have a good understanding.
