There’s nothing quite like seeing Mount Qomolangma (aka Mount Everest) up close. Located in #Tibet, #Qomolangma can be viewed by visitors from the base camp area. Base camp is 5,200 meters above sea level, which means you may be prone to altitude sickness. (I sure was). If you’re feeling symptoms of altitude sickness, don’t forget to drink lots of water and use oxygen canisters. If you stay in the base camp tents overnight, make sure to wake up early enough to see sunrise on the “rooftop of the world.” It is truly magnificent and a once in a lifetime sight to behold! #wintergetaway
