Chef Tony's Modern Chinese Restaurant

The staff was fabulous, she was very efficient and informative, nothing was a problem for her. The meals were delicious, would recommend this restaurant to any wanting a lovely meal.

What a beautiful experience tonight at Chef Tony’s... after a rainy and chilly summers day out on the water all we needed was a nice warm meal to keep us comfy and relaxed. Chef Tony delivered just that, plus excellent service and a great atmosphere to enjoy it in. With a party of nine we were greeted warmly by Tony himself, and his service style was calm yet efficient even with a dining room full of guests. Our meals were delicious and beyond our expectations of a standard Chinese meal. The sizzling beef was amazing and tender - loved by all closely followed by the honey chicken dish. Towards the end of our meal we had an unpleasant experience by some walk in guests who didn’t sign in correctly, then after displaying signs of a coughing fit, they were asked to have their meal as a takeaway due to COVID concerns, at which stage, some of the un-checked-in guests became rude and irate, and borderline racist with some of their comments. Tony remained professional and reasonable with his requests for them to take away rather than remain dining in the restaurant and all of our party (9guests) agreed this was the right action for him to take. We felt safe and cared for by Tony’s quick preventative action and thank him and his staff for being so COVID safe in this regard. Overall a wonderful experience on Chef Tony’s behalf and we’ll definitely be back again!!

The best Chinese food around. Service great. Would recommend to anyone. They told us tonight there is going to be extra specials starting next week.
