A classmate finally came back from a business trip in Asia. So here comes the belated anniversary dinner. We chose Deuxave, which is Boston magazine's best French restaurant. Chef Christopher Coomb focuses on seasonal freshness and local ingredients. The food pairing is very creative and the taste is fresh. It's my cup of tea! ​

Deuxave has prepared a prix-fixe menu for Thanksgiving, which will be served from noon to 8 pm. You must try their seasonal spiced heirloom pumpkin soup. The main course is all about poultry, with chicken, duck and goose being delicious no matter how you order them.

If the weather permits, you can sit outside the restaurant and dine with your back to the lights, which is very comfortable. The interior of the restaurant is very bright, and the decoration is a bit like the feeling of a hotel lobby, clean and simple. The stone brick walls and built-in fireplaces neutralize the alienation that the white chandelier and large mirrors easily bring. If you sit by the window, the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows is also great.
