What a fabulous little restaurant - we were served by the owner, who very obviously is passionate about the food he serves and where it is sourced - he was so friendly and chatty, and loved what he was doing. It’s all local produce, which is prepared by his Armenian chef, which brings a very tasty twist to the dishes. The beef, pork, cheeses, red wine (organic and local), the Cremant de Limoux, the service, the atmosphere - everything, we would recommend. A chance find and so pleased that we went! I’d definitely go again if we’re staying longer, but sadly we leave Carcassonne today.

The chef is highly original, and very attentive to his customers. On our two visits to this delightful locavore restaurant, he chatted with us at leisure, providing interesting information on the region and on his cooking philosophy. And his dishes are amazing, with a fusion-driven approach to the spicing of the locally-sourced organic ingredients. However, we would recommend eating outside if the weather permits, because the delightful ambiance of the terrace is much more attractive than that of the room indoors.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - made us feel very welcome and explained all that we needed to know. Food was excellent also and produced very quickly, although helped by fact restaurant was not that busy. Would highly recommend
The staff, the food, the evening we spent our first visit was lovely. We loved it so much that we returned two days later. If we lived in this city, we would dine here weekly. It is a good deal for the price too. You feel like you are part of the community at this restaurant even if simply a tourist. Many local people eat here, and that speaks well for this restaurant also. Highly recommend to try to dine here if you are in the city. Thank you for a nice evening....twice!
Good food at a reasonable price. The people were lovely and as the menu is in French took time to explain the choices in English. Full marks for helpfulness.
