What a beautiful hidden gem! Wish we would have known about it sooner! Delicious eggs Benedict and coffee that hits the spot, not to mention very reasonably priced. Service was faultless and it was so lovely to have a pleasant chat with the friendly staff. The ambience is just devine. We will definitely be back!

You always receive a warm welcome at the Dark Horse. The food and service are excellent. Lovely place to relax for brekky or lunch. Recommend it.

Incredibly friendly service, a nice set up with the heated closed in veranda in the middle of winter. We sat on the bench seat and enjoyed the view of the backyard and the chickens.We had the grazing plate and two glasses of wine.-enjoyed the lot.Finished with a scone and tea, the scone was ridiculously big. About as big as three normal scones.

Welcoming and friendly staff and owners. Great food, fresh and home-baked, and really good coffee. Excellent service. Happy to go back and refer to others.

We had a table for 10 and the service was fantastic with everyone enjoying their meals. The view was excellent with kangaroos, kookaburras, chooks and pumpkins. It rained very heavilly but when the sun came out the rainbow over the autumn leaves was spectacular.The warm balcony was inviting and noise levels kept to a minimum in an Australian bush setting. We were even able to split the bill which made it very easy to pay for such a large group. We will come back.
