We followed the tour group to visit Gaoming, Foshan. The tour group also arranged for us to have lunch at this farmhouse restaurant. They said we were going to eat rice noodles, one of Gaoming's specialties. I thought there was only one thing, but fortunately it was quite rich. This restaurant is quite large. It seems that in addition to the tour groups, there are also many individual customers. There are many parking spaces outside the restaurant, but they are all full. Business is very good. {Rice noodles}, rice noodles are a specialty of Gaoming cuisine. Although it doesn't sound outstanding, if you like noodles, you should like and want to try the rice noodles here. Rice noodles are usually served after the clear soup is cooked, and then there are many ingredients and side dishes. You can add them yourself, or the kitchen can directly mix a bowl for you. The ingredients on our table include: egg shreds, braised meat, fried peanuts, fried fish tofu shreds, pickled mustard, chopped green onions, etc., of course, it can also be made into a spicy flavor. Gaoming's rice noodles are quite smooth and good. {Eggplant with minced meat}, the eggplant was not cut, but cooked as a whole, even with the stem at the top. It was difficult to pick it up, and everyone used chopsticks and spoons together, and the eggplant was rotten in the end. I don't know if the eggplant was washed. {Long beans with basil}, long beans are convenient, and you can be lazy and cook them one by one. The beans taste good, and the basil makes it more fragrant. {Braised lamb with bean curd}, this dish is good, the amount of lamb is quite large, although it is not lamb belly, which means there are a lot of bones, but there is still a lot of pure lamb, and it is stewed very well and very tender.

The name is Garden Food, and the environment inside does have a garden feel. I ordered roasted spare ribs, steamed meatballs in lotus leaves, and fried cucumbers. The spare ribs were roasted just right, not too dry, the gravy was locked, the meatballs were firm and not flaky, and the cucumbers were tender. The only downside was that the dishes were served too slowly.

I happened to go to Gaoming a few days ago, and on the way back, I searched Meituan and came to this farm nearby. The environment is quite like a garden. I ordered the local specialty bamboo worms, Gaoming rice noodles, spring water tofu, and also ordered shrimp and crab braised chicken, long beans, and lotus leaf steamed meatballs. The bamboo worms were a bit burnt, and I didn’t taste the original flavor of the bamboo worms. The rice noodles and tofu were quite good, the beans were very flavorful, the steamed meatballs were okay, and the shrimp and crab braised chicken were also good. However, the overall price is a bit expensive. Just 6 dishes cost almost 500. I hope the store can lower the price.
