Fat Pipi Pizza

The town is not big, and the restaurant is easy to find. In addition to whitebait pizza, there are many other varieties, all of which are large portions. It's my first time there, and I must recommend the whitebait pizza. The pasta is also delicious and good value for money.

Next to Hokitika Beach is the internet-famous whitebait pizza shop Fat Pipi Pizzas, where you can eat the only whitebait pizza on the entire West Coast. It was so popular when I walked in that I had to wait for a table. There is an outdoor garden area at the back, but I gave up because it was too cold. I discussed with the boss and simply sat at the table in the waiting area by the door to eat. Have you all eaten Taihu Sanbai and whitebait steamed eggs? New Zealanders also love whitebait, which is mostly caught on the west coast of the South Island. It is a juvenile of several different species of milkfish. We were also lucky to catch the whitebait season here in spring. The whitebait pizza is not bad, recommended. The ginger beer in the picture is called Bundaberg, which is the best-selling ginger beer in Australia. Although it is a beer, Bundaberg does not contain any alcohol. It is not simply made by mixing soda water and ginger-flavored synthetic agents; instead, it is made by grinding selected high-quality Australian dried ginger into powder, heating it with caramel water, and then fermenting it with natural yeast malt.
