Restaurant au Cheval Noir

FYI, the daily menu (21eur in Mai 2024) has only the main course and dessert, no starter - regardless of what you read here..Food was OK, though everything was slightly too salty. Service is pleasant, if I disregard the fact that arriving 12.45 I was already tuck away alone in a back room. Felt awkward.

The food is very good. En sevice is ok. Only the atmosphere is not really good, because other guest are annoying in the restaurant(kissing all the time) is not appropriate to do this with people around you, specially in rest.

The starter was sublime! I was so excited. The main course had a dry look to it, but the taste was good. The dessert was not all that imaginative, but tasty. All in all I was actually happy with food. The service was rapid to begin with, but as the restaurant emptied.... we were probably simply forgotten. No wonder - they had seated us in a very hidden corner, where the ambiance was... well lonely. So it sort of depends on your luck. It can be excquisite. Or it can be less.

Every time we come, the menu is always very good and very refined, with lots of flavors. Mrs. Ennesser is charming. The service is impeccable.

Very nice restaurant, pleasant and cozy atmosphere, everything is delicious and the dishes are very well presented. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We go to this restaurant regularly and have never been disappointed. Thanks to the whole team :)
