Domaine Grange Neuve Restaurant

We are so pleased that we found this wonderful restaurant with rooms in a remote area of Vaucluse. Sitting under a large shady tree enjoying a lovely lunch with local wines makes a perfect holiday. Very good value and friendly service

A real find!The setting deep in the wooded hills was charming, and the signage to reach it was clear and helpful. Each course each of us chose was excellent- mussels and scallops and smoked goose to start, beef filet with morels and lamb shank for entrees, and berry stained crème brûlée and charlotte for dessert.The owner advised us well on wine selection, and the wine list was well chosen.The patrons seemed largely to be locals or guests at the hotel so it had an authentic, intimate feel.It’s best to arrive early, as the owners are taxed to serve everyone, and it’s easier to navigate the roads before dark. We highly recommend this family restaurant.

Country-style cuisine in a beautiful, out of the way setting. Small terrace surrounded by old trees and singing birds and cicadas. Mussels and scallops, goose confit, and sweetbreads were highlights.

A most delicious meal and delightful evening with friends. I had lamb shank that was flavorful and tender. Others in our group had the filet which was superb. The hosts were friendly and patient with our minimal French! It was a wonderful repast for all of us. Definitely recommend.

Exceptional scenery and very good food choices that made up to a memorable evening. Great spot to chose either for a family casual or a romantic encounter.
