Sicilians have big appetites. From morning till night, I was constantly attacked by sweets and I had to admit defeat.
From 9 am to 9 pm, I watched everyone make food together, chat loudly, eat and chat loudly, and it was a cycle: making Toma cheese, fresh Ricotta with bread, various pan-fried veal, horse meat and super delicious sausages, homemade Scacciata pizza, 2 large plates of desserts (not counting the various cookies from Modica later). Before leaving, each person took a Scacciata pizza + ricotta cheese home to continue eating
