Bistro Royal

We've eaten here many times and it always has been an excellent overall experience. Restaurant had our booking upon arrival and applied our Yums promotion without having to be reminded. We had the lamb and the fjällröding (fish). Both dishes were perfectly prepared, nicely presented and very tasty. For appetizers, we had the carpaccio and garlic bread, which we can also recommend.

Great food, friendly and attentive Service in an amazingly beautiful old style place. And all this to extremely fair prices for the high quality of the dishes. Absolutely recommendable.

A beautiful restaurant in the place of the waiting room of HM the Swedish king Oskar II., from 1895. It was rather hard to find this place - Google maps do not give good directions. Remember that this restaurant really is located in the building of the train station!!! But: not in the market part! Go little further. Once you get there, the treatment is good. Staff keeps very busy and you may need to ask several times to have your wine glass brought. The food is very good and the best part is the history of the place. I am so glad that the restaurant keeps the written history of the interior on the wall (in English). The interior is just beautiful. A must for history or train lovers. A very good experience, I will recommend to my friends. Thank you for the nice experience.

We have eaten here many times and, as usual, the food and wine were excellent!We were seated in a corner that was a little cramped and as is often the case in this otherwise lovely setting, the restaurant provides little, if any lighting or candles at the tables. Table candles would add so much charm and enhance the overall experience.

The atmosphere is very nice and the staff very friendly and tentative. The food was as expected, good, rich and nicely presented.
