Restaurant had our Fork booking upon arrival and applied our Fork benefit without us having to ask for it :-)We had the steak tartar, which was very good, but poorly presented. Not anything like the beautiful picture on La Gare's website. Dijon mustard was missing. We also had the Entrecote, which was cooked perfectly and in all ways fantastic. We've eaten at La Gare several times and the service has always been top notch. It was a little less than top notch this time...but to be fair, they were coping with with a large crowd that came in while we were dining.There are only a few restaurants in Malmö with French cuisine and we've tried most of them. We think La Gare is the best of them. Highly recommended!

Staff was extremely helpful In local knowledge and helping us navigate dinner solutions for the coming week nearby. TheIr food as well as service was excellent!
Very nice food and service. My steak was cooked to perfection and the meat quality was very good. Loves the escargot and the tarte tatin as well. With the discount on the fork, it is a bargain !
Restaurant was aware of our Fork booking and promotion upon our arrival and we were seated promptly. Service was informative and excellent! Onion soup recommended. We both had the steak dish, which came with beans or fried potatoes and a salad with a tasty Dijon dressing. The steaks were very tender and tasty, cooked exactly as ordered with an unusual and delicious tarragon sauce. We recommend the fondant with vanilla ice cream for dessert.
The dishes are always great and so the service. And this time the bright lights from the lamps were of and it feels like a romantic dinner in Paris :-)
