In the Tasmanian Aboriginal language, palawa kani, &quot;palawa&quot; means &quot;Tasmanian Aboriginal people&quot; and &quot;kipli&quot; means &quot;food&quot;. Palawa Kipli aims to contribute to the continuation and revitalization of Tasmanian Aboriginal culture by combining traditional foods and land management practices.
Palawa Kipli also runs the Kipli Takara Tour: a 90-minute bush tucker walk through the rich landscape led by an Aboriginal guide, where visitors can taste seasonal local bush foods and learn about Aboriginal history and culture.
