The Federal

Thank you for your service, coffee was great, friendly service and was a nice quiet place for our meeting. The menu had something for all tastes and was reasonably priced.

The food was wonderful authentic Indian. We all enjoyed our meal. Venue was almost empty so we had very prompt service. Good options other than Indian also available. Parking outside was easy.

Set in the heart of the historic Geelong Mill, this cafe and restaurant is beautiful in both style and ambience. The staff are friendly, kind and helpful and the food was amazing. I had the Federal Breakfast which was a hearty meal that sustained me most of the day. I would highly recommend this location to others, in fact I already have. It was lovely, after my meal, to wander the gardens and grounds and recall it’s history and significance for the region

Food was delightful, juicy, succulent, and well presented. Service was good, we were the only people in there which was a weird feeling and it just seemed a bit dead overall.

A bit disappointing as there is so much potential there. For the second time, their EFTPOS was down, so could only pay in cash (who has cash?!) or bank transfer, The menu was OK, but it would have been fabulous to see some rolls, toasties, smaller lunch deals etc. Prices were reasonable.
