Chuange Fish Dumpling House (huangdaozhujianglu)

Although the store is not very big, the environment is clean, the service is friendly, there are many customers, and it is often full. There are all kinds of dumplings, all made on the spot by the aunties. My favorite is their Spanish mackerel dumplings, which are fresh and delicious, and I must order them every time.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with their dumplings, but the price/performance ratio is a little lacking, and the fish is not cooked very well, with a strong fishy smell. It is worth recommending that you must order the eggplant strips and tomato beef every time, and the dumplings, yellow croaker and cuttlefish are must-orders.

For my first meal in Qingdao, I chose Yuge. I had eaten there before in Jinan and thought it was good. Later I found out that it was a restaurant in Qingdao. Of course I had to eat there when I was in Qingdao. I just had a simple meal and ordered the dumplings from Quanjiafu, which offered a variety of flavors. There was also a pot of boiled seafood and two cold dishes, all of which tasted good and were not expensive.

The taste and environment are very good, but since my boyfriend and I were traveling for the first time, we didn't know the rules of this restaurant. There was no waiter to guide us to our seats when we entered the door, and we didn't know who to ask for our orders. We were confused the whole time. But after the dishes were served, the waiter was very good. He came over from time to time to change the plates and was very diligent. This aspect was very good. The dishes were very delicate and the dumplings were delicious. For couples, we recommend half a portion of cuttlefish dumplings and half a portion of shrimp dumplings. One portion is a pot of freshness. The spicy ones we had were not delicious and tasteless. The chili had no taste. It would be better to steam them, which is more delicious.

The hotel is currently under construction, and there are two trucks parked at the door. If you drive there, you may have to find a way to park somewhere else. The ordering area and the price list on the wall are very conspicuous. We ordered five seafood dishes and one vegetable for a total of 340 yuan, and Alipay gave us a 6 yuan discount. The spicy fried abalone was very good, with about 30 pieces. The vegetables were too expensive, and for 38 yuan, we might as well order two South American prawns!

I visited this restaurant when I was traveling in Qingdao. There were already a lot of people when I arrived at 5pm, but there was no waiting. It happened to be the store anniversary. The prawns were 6.18 each, but they were not fresh enough. The family dumplings tasted good, but I don't like the ones stuffed with Spanish mackerel because of my personal taste. The scallops and squids were thick and very delicious.

It is highly recommended online and is quite popular, but... it is better to try it yourself than to hear about it. It was dinner time when we arrived at the restaurant. There were a lot of people waiting for a table, and parking spaces were limited. The security guards were just for show, so it was basically up to the customers to coordinate parking spaces themselves. Maybe the business was too good, and many of the dishes we ordered were not available. We waited in line for more than half an hour before we were finally seated. The dishes were served quite quickly, and the dumplings tasted okay, but the portion size did not match the price, and was too small. Fortunately, we ordered more dishes, so we were full. In addition, the oysters we ordered were not fresh, and they were old and small. The shrimps we ordered were processed very sloppily, and the shrimp threads were not removed cleanly, and there were still a lot of black residues left in the soup. I don't know if the title of No. 1 is hype, but I will not come again after having eaten there.
