This is an amazing restaurant. Each course of our dinner menu was an adventure in new flavor combinations and textures. The dessert was imaginative and like nothing we had ever tasted. The service was excellent and the wine pairings were inspired.

We booked this restaurant just 4 hours before dining. Everything was just perfect. We went for menu decouvert at 60 euro for 4 excellent courses. My husband is allergic to tuna so they had no problem serving another entr&eacute;e

most of the food was exceptional, especially the amusement bouche an entr&eacute;e of mushroom and apricot. Sheff has very inventive wave mixing unexpected ingredients together and making them work and off each other.The only disappointment was main chorus. It was good, but not at the same level as other parts of the meal. It was a bit undercooked to my taste, although tender, and not as creative as previous dishes.

A very pleasant evening at La Table de Balthazar. The food arrives very fast, and tastes very fresh.My favorite dish remains the starter and the dessert. The lobster was good, but the portion for the price might be a little too small. The taste is solid, but less innovative when compared to their starters or desserts.Cocktails and wine choice are great. The terrace is quiet enough in the early evening. Definitely a place to come back, to check their new creations.

Maybe the best restaurant in Rennes. Enjoy it.A sophisticated gastronomy with good wines at a reasonable prices.I only would advise the restaurant to lower the temperature of the room during warmer days.

The meal was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were courteous and attentive and the ambiance conducive to an enjoyable dining experience.

For my first trial The Fork, roof was well-functioned. We chose the &quot;Italia&quot; pizza with the sticked sticks and noodles of Saint Jacques whisky. Little disappointment about the noodles of Saint Jacques that, I think, were petoncles. But given the price of the pizza and the taste of it, you don&#39;t want them, it was very good. A dessert tiramisu, very good too. We&#39;ll come back.

Great place in the nice city of Rennes. Boasting an open kitchen, the restaurant&rsquo;s focus is meat but fish is also on the list (octopus and dorada). We had a burger from Rennes and one of duck  (both delicious) while the one of us had a very convenient formule (a set menu) featuring truffle rice balls, pork and caramel mousse. Also nice service.

Friendly, delicious, and reasonably priced! Can&rsquo;t beat that combo. We really enjoyed our evening and will definitely return. It&rsquo;s fun to see the wood-fired grill from the table.

Originally made a reservation for Monday evening taking advantage of the fork&#39;s &quot;more yums&quot; promotion. On Monday morning this reservation was cancelled by the restaurant. The Fork offered me a compensation of 100 yums instead of the 1000 in the promotion.As I still wanted to try this restaurant I made another reservation for Tuesday evening. The restaurant and staff were fine and friendly but the food was lousy. The vegetable beignets were the best but the mustard was too strongly flavoured. The calamares had been cooked toooo long making them too soft with no flavour and the cheesecake was almost tasteless

I love this place. Service is super friendly and works well. Food is simply amazing and always tasty. Cool people around. Furthermore, the location is central and easily accessible from anywhere in Rennes.
