The best thing about driving in France is to stop wherever you think is beautiful. This time, I found a place that can truly be called blue lake.

French name Lac de Serre-Pon&ccedil;on, the entire lake is formed by the melting of snow-capped mountains in the Alps in France. Because it contains a lot of minerals, the color of the lake is milky blue with a hint of blue, but it is clear to the bottom.

This lake area is quite niche, and few tourists except French locals have found it. Eating an authentic French meal at the lakeside restaurant Les Flots Bleus, with snails as an appetizer, steak as a main course, and caramel pudding as a dessert, is worth the trip.
