Beimen Tofu Factory is an old shop. I heard from locals that the tofu in Shiping is different from that in other places. The brine used to make tofu here is quite unique. This kind of tofu cannot be made in other places. The grilled tofu is special. You can taste its delicious taste.

Beimen Tofu Factory was built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. Its factory building was an old house where workers used to make tofu by hand. After the founding of New China, the factory became a state-owned enterprise in 1956 and became a collective memory of the locals. Shiping Beimen Tofu Factory is an iconic place with historical, craft and cultural value. Its original site is now a museum, continuing the tradition and story of Shiping tofu.
