The Boatbuilders Yard

At The Boatbuilders Yard, I randomly chose a glass of Gin wine called Four Pillars. I instantly fell in love with the taste. It is a local Australian wine, what should I do if I can't buy it at home? The recommended red wine is also good, produced in Western Australia. The food here is not bad either, it is indeed recommended by my friend.

We just dined here while in Melbourne for a conference. We loved it so much we ended up going there almost every day for breakfast and dinner. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the roaring fire and great views added to the atmosphere. The food was amazing! We tried the avocado toast, brioche French toast etc and it was all delicious!

I went with colleagues for the cocktail hour. Food was ok, but the size of the finger food was way too big, but there was a good variety. Be careful not to eat the paper on the tortillas! It's hard to see when you're talking to someone! Just a reminder, don't come in high heels, the cobblestones are hard to walk on, and the floor was slippery due to the wet weather. Drinks were served promptly and service was satisfactory.

My family and I had breakfast here and we all enjoyed it. The location is really convenient near South Wharf DFO. We sat inside near the open fire and my daughter said the scrambled eggs were the best she had ever had!

We were staying in town for a weekend and had breakfast here in a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, the food was fresh and tasty, the staff were very pleasant, prompt and friendly. The location is great and the decor is interesting and well worth a visit. It offers a nice courtyard to stop in for an orange juice, coffee or beer at a leisurely time of day. There is an open fire at the front and the food is delicious.
